Majority of times, both married men and women make a decision to stay married for the sake of children making them to seek excitement and lost passion a simple necessity to continue living their life. Eventually, if a husband discovers that he can not refuse a fulfillment he is getting from a lover, it is becoming a lifestyle choice and a way of living. This leaves the wife with no other alternative but either to leave a marriage or put up with current situation seeking either revenge or simply getting even.
More and more married women find themselves in this position making a decision not to leave but to start looking for comfort, attention and necessity to feel desired from outside of their marriage and looking ending up having extra-marital affairs. In most cases, extramarital affairs is the result of sexual desperation, lost of desire, sexual dissatisfaction, and eventually lack of communication in a marriage. There is no doubt that married dating relationship is a new trend that society can not ignore pretending that it does not exist. In a survey study carried out on married dating relationships, it showed that the mistress was happier than the legally married woman.
Many women dating married men testified that in fact they would rather play second fiddle as mistresses than take the place of a wife. It was established that in married dating relationship, there are many goodies that come with being the mistress. Perhaps, this is one of the reasons why it is the order of the day in the modern times where the marriage institution is facing the danger of extinction. A critical analysis has shown that the marriage institution is seen to be unjust to the human nature of both men and women. Practice of spending romantic holidays with your lover, designers clothing shopping together, passion get-away vacations is becoming very popular among the married women. Living extra-marital lifestyle is becoming a choice that more and more married men and women decide to pursue.
